What was the weirdest trade you engaged in?: I swapped a beanie I found on the street for a comic zine by a former student of mine. I also swapped a can of rice pudding for a photo zine. No one offered me anything weird unfortunately
Do you have any requests for things to be different at the next Zine Market?: PA for announcements???
Do you have a THEME IDEA for the next mid-Winter market?: Winter solstice: witchiness, pagan product, eco zines, cosmic comics, Matariki, seasonal affective disorder

Did you enjoy the Winter Zine Market?: Yes it was a very good time!
What was the weirdest trade you engaged in?: I loved trading for a cat-themed tarot card.
Do you have any requests for things to be different at the next Zine Market?: No, everything was good!

Did you enjoy the Winter Zine Market?: Yes!
What was the weirdest trade you engaged in?: I traded stickers for a tiny evangelion figure from a handbag and then traded that figure for a horny origami zine
Do you have any requests for things to be different at the next Zine Market?: Not different but I really really enjoyed the quiet hour being more clearly defined by the dimming of lights! As someone with AuDHD it made it very pleasant and also helped remind me to also be quieter haha
Do you have a THEME IDEA for the next mid-Winter market?: Anti-AI could be a good theme!

Did you enjoy the Winter Zine Market?: yes! thanks for organising!!!
What was the weirdest trade you engaged in?: Zines for mandarins and choc biscuit, for Sri Lankan tea, for vegan garlic foccacia! I'm looking forward to the next zinefest bc wasn't a fan of trade
Do you have any requests for things to be different at the next Zine Market?: no more corner table please ;-; there was no space to stand let alone sit. Maybe corner tables can go to pairs or two solo ppl (the adjacent stall had 2 ppl)
Do you have a THEME IDEA for the next mid-Winter market?: Aotearoa, anti-AI, animals/flora/fauna, longer-form, poetry, colourful, important causes/social justice

I felt bad saying no to ppl, especially children (this is a me problem) because I felt like i would be derailing the sense of community :/ I tried to say no in a non-awkward way a few times when I really didn't want to trade but then they had nothing else and ahhh it really stressed me out

What was the weirdest trade you engaged in?: rolling a nat20 for a zine :)
Do you have any requests for things to be different at the next Zine Market?: i think every zinefest from now on should incorporate trading!!! it allows zines to go so much further & reach many more people than if they all cost $2-10. i think it creates a great sense of community!
Do you have a THEME IDEA for the next mid-Winter market?: unorthodox formats (or a better way of phrasing that) ie. anything other than a portrait rectangular zine

What was the weirdest trade you engaged in?: I traded one of my stickers for someone's craft which was a lizard with wings that was made with beads and wire. That was definitely the weirdest one.
Do you have a THEME IDEA for the next mid-Winter market?: cats

This zine market was awesome, can't wait for the next one!

What was the weirdest trade you engaged in?: i traded for a bag of river rocks but they’re really sick rocks!!!
Do you have any requests for things to be different at the next Zine Market?: hmmm i thought it went really well to be honest. for people who are tabling maybe if there was like a before people show up opportunity to see other artists stuff? it was a bit hard to leave the table to have a proper look around
Do you have a THEME IDEA for the next mid-Winter market?: a spooky theme could be cool.

i had an amazing time :P it was really fun and i hope i’ll be able to table again

What was the weirdest trade you engaged in?: Uhh I guess when I gave some yarn for a zine?
Do you have any requests for things to be different at the next Zine Market?: More trade oppos! I love trading my stuff with other people :love: Also if there were more spots to chat with others, that'd be real cool. Like a make-a-zine station or something, idk
Do you have a THEME IDEA for the next mid-Winter market?: Cryptids!!! Or like, something horror-themed would be really fun

What was the weirdest trade you engaged in?: I traded real monies (oh no) for a XXX Gundam nudie zine with fold out poster.
Do you have any requests for things to be different at the next Zine Market?: Trade wars should always be a sub-theme alongside main theme.

What was the weirdest trade you engaged in?: Not super weird but I had painted custom critical role pins and saw someone with critics role fan art that I traded them for. Was very sweet interaction
Do you have any requests for things to be different at the next Zine Market?: More trading opportunities even if the theme isn’t trading as I enjoyed making my own trades
Do you have a THEME IDEA for the next mid-Winter market?: Fish?
